When the pandemic began, I asked myself what I could do to support others. I saw so many people on the news doing so many wonderful things, then I wondered what can I do? Of course, I thought YOGA, what a great way to reduce stress and foster well-being. My hope is to bring Yoga to as many people as possible.
During April & May people came out to their driveways while I walked up and down the street leading the practice. We practiced daily, people began to meet their neighbours, get outside, many shared it was the highlight of their day.
Then came mid-June, the parks opened up to small groups, off the street and into nature. People loved being outside in the early mornings.
Concerned for those who could not get out and for those who lived across the City, I decided to delve into technology with a whole new way of teaching via Zoom. People practiced alongside their dogs, cats and bunny rabbits.
